🆕WinFi
WinFi is back and works with WLAN Pi
WinFi is a tool which has been around for a while but is now going through a refresh.
One of the big plus points of WinFi is that it is built to be truly cross-platform. It will work the same way on all platforms. Today it is available as a beta for Windows and Mac.
You can download a copy here

Installing WinFi requires the following steps
On Windows confirm its execution
On MacOS run
xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/WinFi.app
It will need approval of location permissions and the location service enabled

This will get the free version up and running
Connecting the Go to WinFi
To start the configuration of the WLAN Pi Go - lets navigate to the settings page using the menu choice

Select the 'Interfaces' menu and select the 'Add Interface' button and call it WLAN Pi.
Find the newly created WLAN Pi configuration. Select ' Edit'

There are two things to change (in the following order):
In the Templates drop-down, select
WLAN Pi R4Set the IP Address to
198.18.42.1
Make these changes then select 'Test Connection' This should report that the 'SSH Connection is Successful'

Save and return to the main screen
Select the 'WinFi 3.0' icon to the right of the icon.
Next, find the selection of the adapter (defaults to en0) and click it to find WLAN PI

It currently (in the beta), takes a while for a scan to complete. This is because it is scanning every channel in 6GHz. You will know it is working when you see the green box at the right of the status bar showing the frequency which is being scanned.

The free version then provides the following view

Paid Version enhancements
If there is no released paid version yet, the best way to trial this is to join the discord server and request a trial license
In the paid version is is possible to export PCAPs and see some nice visualizations such as a 3D spectrum
